YWCA Expansion Complete

The YWCA expansion is complete after 10 months of construction. The newly expanded $3.6 million facility will continue to provide services for the YWCA to promote peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all of its Northeast Indiana counties. This allows the YWCA to streamline services by co-locating the Crisis Shelter, Hope House Division, Community and Education programs, and the Administration facilities on one site. The Crisis shelter increased by 20 beds with family pods for increased privacy and security. The Hope House division grew by 10 beds, and expanded its ability of care and support for women with drug and alcohol dependencies. A truly great team effort by Elevatus Architecture and Michael Kinder & Sons and the YWCA of Northeast Indiana.
