West Noble School Corporation needed to enhance the athletic facilities at West Noble High School to support the evolving needs its student-athletes. The district hired Elevatus to design a new state-of-the-art weight room and make significant upgrades to the football stadium, promoting athletic excellence and community engagement.
The current weight room, previously located in two repurposed classrooms on the second floor, was inadequate for the district’s growing strength conditioning demands. To address this, the design team imagined a new, 4,000 square foot weight room on the first floor. This facility will feature modern strength conditioning equipment, a synthetic turf area for agility and speed training, a coaches office, and a training room for injury rehabilitation. These additions will enhance safety, supervision, and the overall effectiveness of the West Noble athletic programs.
Upgrades to the football stadium will include expanding the track from six to eight lanes, enabling the school to host post-season competitions. New public facilities, such as restrooms and a concession building, along with redesigned entrances and ticket booths, will improve spectator convenience. Additionally, a new press box and home grandstand bleachers will provide better media coverage and seating.
This comprehensive project will provide West Noble student-athletes with advanced training resources, foster community engagement, and ensure a safe and supervised environment. The improved facilities will attract larger events, enhancing the school’s reputation as a hub for athletic excellence.
