The redevelopment of the historic General Electric campus into a buzzing district for business, learning, and community needed a nucleus. Union Street Market, located in Buildings 20 and 22, serves as just that – a place where visitors from near and far can meet, eat, drink, shop, or explore year-round. The one-of-a-kind market features a food hall with unique eateries and a public market featuring local shops, curated in an industrial, open setting, with a mezzanine for additional seating and garage doors that open to a courtyard. The arcade – a main gallery between the west hall and east hall – connects visitors entering from Union Tunnel to the market, and welcomes them to the full campus from there. Uniting historic features with cosmopolitan offerings, Union Street Market is the energy-charged core of Electric Works, and it’s magnetic.
