The Indiana Tech Zollner Biology Lab evokes an innovative approach for the university’s growing demand in it’s science programs and practice. Elevatus Architecture was engaged to provide design updates and modern equipment.
Indiana Tech aims to introduce more students to scientific careers and felt the need to bring more of a biology-intense focus. This space will accommodate first and second-year biology students.
The new lab is comprised of 3 areas:
- Life Sciences
- Lab Support
- Cell Culture
The Life Sciences area includes the main learning space where traditional lab countertops with power and gas faucets are attached. The Lab Support area stationed the refrigeration, fume hood, and other equipment with associated to the life sciences needs. Inside the Cell Culture room, you will find various biosafety equipment and lab test materials.
The Zollner Biology Lab combines modern day needs and equipment in a traditional science lab.
