Handling Negative Situations

In the most difficult times, life is not only present to give you the energy to overcome the obstacles but also to prepare you for what’s to come. Think of your thoughts of being a catalyst.

I really think at times, we get these feelings that cause us to go off-course and irrational thoughts of defeat and decline can inevitable. A feeling where maybe you sense everything is impossible and elements around you are without reach can lead you down a negative slippery slope. We’ve all had troubling times. There is no doubt about that. Maybe right now, even more than ever. Don’t let this describe your future mindset.

Remember, the stars shine brightest during the darkest of nights. We have to be thankful for our support systems — the things that keep us going. They can be our fuel to the silver linings of life. A catalyst brings to thought what doubts might want to pull down. There’s a quote out there by President Franklin D. Roosevelt that said, “A smooth sea never made a skilled sailor.” I feel for the difficult moments of today, it is an ideological standpoint where we are able to encapsulate and take into effect how we can grow from here. Whether it’s beginning a new skill, discovering the impossible, connecting with an old friend, or learning about yourself – self-care should always be in the forefront. The only way we will transpire is by forward-thinking. The dynamic actions that might happen to us is like a two-way street. Drive forward with a big point-of-view out of the windshield or reverse with a smaller foresight out of the rearview mirror

We shouldn’t let fear steer us away. The courageous feelings are in you, and some may only be released if only you allow them. Fear’s objective is to make you feel doubtful, to make you identify that there is just no glass at all there to be filled. We have to look to the helpers, the people who help grow us into the people we are today. We have to not only look out for one another, but we have to look out for ourselves.

At the end of this long, steep tunnel, there is light. The light is filled with care, with new-form knowledge, with love, and it is deemed to create greater opportunities in life.

Together, we are united in the tough times of today, and they are only going to prepare us for a better tomorrow.

Take care and be kind to one another.
