Ferguson Advertising knew its next chapter was going to be at Electric Works, and it chose Building 20 to call home. It also knew it had to feature open work spaces that promoted connection and creativity. Turning that vision into a design was no easy task, and it took 3D modeling, detailed renderings and animations from the Elevatus design team to achieve a layout that fit the bill.
The new Ferguson Advertising office space opens to a reception area and an adjacent “living room” to welcome guests. From there, a collaboration zone gives employees a space to meet and brainstorm together. A central conference room was outfitted with a garage door for team accessibility and flexibility. Private rooms for phone calls or video conferences allow for personal conversations when needed.
One issue that the wide open, former industrial building presented was noise. An open concept is nice until someone needs to make a phone call next to a coworker who is trying to work without interruption. To remedy the situation, white noise machines were used to drown out and mask unwanted sounds and conversations.
