The City of Fort Wayne and Allen County Government required additional space to accommodate the growing needs of their various departments. Significant renovations upgraded the existing government building, transforming it into a state-of-the-art office complex that encompasses public spaces, collaborative zones, and secure areas.
Of primary importance are the building’s efficient/citizen-first organization of departments and offices, council chambers, meeting rooms, and event spaces. The design process required the team at Elevatus Architecture to collaborate extensively with the various departments housed in the building. Early in that process, we provided the City with a space plan, program analysis, construction cost estimates, and long-term cost comparisons of various combinations of options.
