A needs assessment of systems and educational analysis of the 1950’s structure was performed as part of a complete educational overhaul of the facility. Exterior facade improvements, along with the new 3-story addition of student study and gathering spaces, development of a state of the art finance lab and overall improvements to create technology enhanced, flexible and collaborative learning environments. Adding multiple, flexible classrooms and office spaces along with a finance and communications lab, multiple SCALE-UP labs, and a television studio, the Indiana Tech School of Business will be a hub for collaborative learning as needed for today’s students and beyond. Special attention was given to the acoustical properties of these spaces and Elevatus teamed up with a central Indiana WBE firm to provide insight and recommendations.
This fast-tracked project was designed in two months and opened in January 2016.
